IWCS - Intelligent Weapon Control System

System Features

Weapon Control System with lights ONThis Intelligent Weapon Control System is a convergence of High Technology Storage System and Fingerprint System. Conventionally mass weapons are controlled through the employment of chains, and padlocks with subsequent accesses of code numbers, keys, access cards and other means for their operation. However, this practice is vulnerable to forgotten passwords, unlawful keys duplication, stolen cards and even cases of manipulation of data by internal personnel that diminish the level of safety and utility of such systems.

Our Weapon Control System is made from steel gauge frame that accustom to the variable standard weapons size. The storage repository is embedded with electronic mechanism that is regulated by a management software application that is specially designated to the explicit requirements of armed forces' storage system. The weapon management software is created to discharge weapons in accordance to the pre¬programmed authorized personnel.

DISTINCTIVE FEATURES

Emergency release/override
The Emergency release/override is mounted on the top half of the Intelligent Weapon Control System. During the emergency, the Administrator would have to use a key to open the emergency release/override door. To activate the emergency release/override, the Administrator would have to push the emergency release/override to release the weapons. Alternately, it can be done by the system management software application.

Alarm Feature
The system has a built-in anti-tamper switch. When triggered, it would activate the alarm.

Extensive Reporting
Multiple Report Generation feature includes all Transaction Events, Late Return, Access Violation, Status of Weapons etc.

Dual Card Mode
The purpose of this mode is for tighter security control. When the assigned user collects the weapon, the user is required to register at the Weapon Collection Area. Once the user has flashed the ID card and the information has been verified (within the Assigned time), the armorer has to go through the similar procedure to validate the transaction. This procedure ensures that the user has collected the weapon under the authorization of the Administrator. The Dual Card Mode would be assigned to all users in the database.

Intranet and Internet
The system is embedded with Ethernet capabilities. It allows system-to-system communication in a local area Network. The system can also be monitored from remote locations via the Internet.

Unique Individual Weapon Identity
Each weapon registered in the system will have an individual identity. A chip will be embedded inside the weapon itself to identify the weapon’s identity (serial number). A reader will be placed under the base slot to identify if the correct weapon is placed to the allocated slot. The reader will alert the system if the weapon is removed without authorization.

Time Zone Control
Each weapon is monitored and controlled within the preset time frame. User with valid time access can only claim their weapon for duty. All transactions are recorded with status indication of valid, invalid or delay records. In addition, if user does not remove weapon from the rack after preset slot release time, system will auto-lock the allocated slot.

Indication
During event of valid emergency door open, acknowledgement LED and strobe light will light ON instantly as attention notice. These indicators will continuously be ON until emergency door is closed. The acknowledgement LED will light ON instantly during weapon slot open as well.

Extra Protection
Emergency door is protected with extra dead hinge to prevent force open.
